An Escape Haven for Southern China
Foshan Golf Club

Foshan Golf Club is an escape in Southern China for the modern golfer – featuring calm woodlands and sweeping hills. In 2019, the course plays host to The Southern Junior presented by Tradewinds Furnishing.
Foshan Golf Club’s par 72 championship golf course was designed by Tony Cashmore, a well known Australian designer, and is one of the most environmentally friendly courses in China – setting an example for other clubs in the region.
The course is designed and constructed to blend in with the local natural landscape. If the surrounding spectacular scenery and beautiful rolling terrain are not enough to attract all your attention, then the challenging greens will surely surprise you. The course and club were recreated by New World China Realestate, and the upgraded facilities are world-class.
Foshan Golf Club has been awarded a host of honors such as Top-10 Golf Club in China by Golf Digest, Top-100 Course in Asia by Ali Golf and Cloud Golf, and 2018 Top-10 Most Outstanding Golf Courses by Golf Vacations.
In addition, Foshan Golf Club is the home of the European Challenge Tour’s Foshan Open. In 2018, the winner of the event was Victor Perez, taking home the trophy in a playoff after finishing 72 holes in regulation at 19-under-par. The JGTA low score record is 66 and we might just see one of Asia’s best juniors match Perez’ second-round score of 65.

The facility is conveniantly located 40 minutes from downtown Guangzhou, and is easily accesible via Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and neighboring cities in Southern China.
Competitors in The Southern Junior are the best of the best in the Asia-Pacific region, and the stage that Foshan Golf Club provides is paralleled with other elite golf venues on the Tour.
