The Junior Golf Tour of Asia (JGTA) has announced the next opportunity to compete for Asia’s most promising junior golfers. The upcoming event on the JGTA’s annual schedule is the JGTA Pattaya Junior Championship.

Format: 54-Holes, Stroke Play over 3 days
Entry Criteria: AJGA PBE Status and official JGTA tie-break categories
Entry Fee: USD $295.00
Status: Junior Order of Merit Major-level status

Application Deadline: 21/02/2019 11:59 pm
JGTA will stop receiving applications submitted after 11:59 PM Singapore Time on February 21, 2020. All Tour Card holders who submit their application after this time will be ineligible for the tournament.

Payment Deadline: 24/02/2020 11:59 pm
Players who have earned tentative entry into the Tournament will have until 11:59 PM Singapore Time on February 24, 2020 to make payment to confirm entry into this event.

Tuesday, March 17 - Player & Parents Meeting
JGTA will host a Player and Parents meeting in the Clubhouse of Burapha Golf Club for all tournament participants, parents/coaches to discuss important topics including Playing the JGTA, College Golf, Local Rules and more. Attendance is mandatory.

Tuesday, March 17 - Official Practice Round
Practice round details will be published shortly.
Please contact playerservices@jgta.org if you are unable to participate in the official practice round before March 11.

Tuesday, March 17 - Player Registration
Players must check-in with JGTA staff in the Clubhouse Lobby on Tuesday, March 17. Late arrival players may register anytime while JGTA staff is present in the Tournament Office before 4:00 pm.

Tuesday, March 17 - Player & Parents Meeting
JGTA will host a Player and Parents meeting in the Clubhouse of Burapha Golf Club for all tournament participants, parents/coaches to discuss important topics including Playing the JGTA, College Golf, Local Rules and more. Attendance is mandatory.

Wednesday, March 18 - Long Drive Competition
The JGTA will host a long drive competition on Wednesday, March 18 at the driving range. Players can join JGTA staff at the driving range following their first-round to compete in the long drive contest. On Thursday, the finalists will be invited to compete in the final competition for the chance to win a TaylorMade Driver.

Friday, March 20 - Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony will take place immediately following the conclusion of play. If booking travel on day of final round please take into consideration possible weather delays that could affect your arrangements.

Host Venue: Burapha Golf & Resort

Burapha Golf & Resort features two world-class links style course, with lead designers being Americans Gary Panks and David Graham. Burapha Golf & Resort has hosted the Thailand Open (in 2010) and has been the host of the Singha Pattaya Open since 2002. Burapha Golf & Resort will test Asia’s rising stars looking to harness the opportunities that the JGTA provides through the Junior Order of Merit, the official ranking system of the tour, which awards AJGA PBE Status per final ranking.

Official Hotel: Burapha Golf & Resort
Burapha Golf & Resort will serve as the official hotel for this event. Families are required to stay at the official hotel. The JGTA has blocked off rooms for JGTA Participants accepted into the field. Therefore players should not book until they are notified by the JGTA that they are accepted into the field on February 21, 2020.
