The JGTA's very first Scholastic All-Asia Team member, Selina Li of Hong Kong, was recognized and honored at the inaugural Hong Kong Junior Classics' Opening Ceremony hosted by Clearwater Bay.
Venue Spotlight: Clearwater Bay
The award-winning Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club, which opened its doors in 1982, has played host to multiple prestigious events, including what is currently the last stop on the PGA Tour Series China, The Clearwater Bay Open, as well as the Omega PGA Championships and the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship.
Tournament Champions Crowned
Pongsapak Laopakdee (2023) of Rayong, Thailand and Chloe Chan (2021) become first time JGTA champions. Hong Kong local Chloe Chan fired scores of 69-71 for an even-par tournament total of 140. With her win, Chan becomes the first JGTA champion in history from Hong Kong.
