Safety of Members, Tour’s competitive principles top priorities as JGTA suspends all sanctioned competition until further notice.
The Junior Golf Tour of Asia has announced it will suspend all Tour events until further notice, due to the evolving public health risks related to coronavirus.
The decision to suspend the JGTA season was made with the safety and well-being of the Tour’s members and staff, and to protect the integrity of the Tour’s competitive principles. These principles strictly depend on all players’ unrestricted access to tournament opportunities in order to ensure the most competitive fields possible and the highest quality of junior golf competition.
JGTA tournaments affected by the suspension between now and the end of the season, including the 2020 JGTA Pattaya Junior Championship at Burapha Golf & Resort, will be moved to the 2020-2021 schedule.
