What Can Four AJGA PBE Stars Do For You?

Sixty JGTA competitors are walking away from the inaugural JGTA season with newly earned American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Performance Stars and status. These stars can be used to gain entry into AJGA tournaments. The JGTA will be providing you with statistics on projected entry criteria at AJGA tournaments in the future at the 4 AJGA PBE star, 8 AJGA PBE Star, 12 AJGA PBE Star, and fully-exempt AJGA status levels that have been earned through the Junior Order of Merit. Entry criteria change year to year so the number of stars needed may vary in 2018. Today we will highlight tournaments that players who have earned 4-stars or more this season on the JGTA may be able to gain entry into.

All tournaments featured below are in the ACDS Junior All-Star Series or are Open events. The ACDS Junior All-Star Series is a collection of events specifically designed for boys and girls age 12-15 years old. The competition provides an opportunity for younger members to develop their skills and build Performance Based Entry status to earn entry into Open tournaments. Open tournaments are for AJGA members who are 12-19 years old. Players with the highest earned Performance Based Entry status as of the application deadline will gain entry into the event. The ACDS Junior All-Star Series and Open tournaments entry criteria vary greatly.
